Throw them in the wash with the rest of your laundry on a delicate cycle (your other clothes will be fine!). Do not use bleach or fabric softerner.
Alternatively, you can handwash your period panties in lukewarm water. In fact handwashing all of your delicates preserves elasticity!
Hang dry your period panties in a non-humid environment. No ironing please!
